Liberty of the Seas is the second Freedom class newbuilding. These ships are second in size only to RCCL's Oasis of the Seas.
  
Art Collections on board are a tradition with Royal Caribbean throughout their fleet, and represent a long standing strategy to provide a beautiful, intriguing and enriching environment for their guests.  As Royal Caribbean’s art advisers, ICArt have developed the art concepts for all new ships' art collections since 1992.


For each new vessel, ICArt creates the unique artistic direction or “red thread” –  which creates a new and distinct character for each ship’s art collection. For Liberty of the Seas, the dream becomes reality! Or is reality a fantasy? Imagine...  Perception and pre-conception are a matter of how you look at things - the artwork on this ship walks a fine line between concepts of illusion and reality. An increasingly digital and cyber-based generation seeks reality in the fantasy of video games and chat rooms. As photo manipulation distorts our view of the natural world, we can read esoteric meanings into everyday scenarios.

Onboard Liberty of the Seas, what you see is not always what you think. ICArt has carefully selected art and artists who explore this dicotomy and add layers of meaning to an increasingly intriguing view of life and art. The art on Liberty of the Seas is Pure Imagination!
