Royal Caribbean International, USA / Freedom of the Seas

Freedom of the Seas is the first of the Freedom class newbuildings. These ships are currently second in size only to RCI's Oasis of the Seas. 
 
Art Collections on board are a tradition with Royal Caribbean throughout their fleet, and represent a long standing strategy to provide a beautiful, intriguing and enriching environment for their guests.  As Royal Caribbean’s art advisers, ICArt have developed the art concepts for all new ships' art collections since 1992.
 
 

For each new vessel, ICArt creates the unique artistic direction or “red thread” –  which creates a new and distinct character for each ship’s art collection. For Freedom of the Seas, it was back to basics - the four basic elements that compose the universe: Earth, Fire, Water & Air. ICArt has carefully selected art and artists who can explore and add layers of meaning to the basic elements
with a wide variety of creative interpretation.
